Match Schedule: June 19, 2012 7:45 PM BST
Donbass Arena — Donets'k
Referee:‬ V. Kassai‎
Roy Hodgson: "It's not just England who haven't always performed when the expectations were heightened. There's quite a few teams that have failed. It's a fact of life. We've come here with the England national team. We believe in ourselves and we want to do well. In some ways it's rather nice that people back home are hoping and even believing we can do well, and we're giving them something to dream about and cling onto." (Yahoo)
England's key player: Wayne Rooney. England will welcome back their star man in less of a pressure situation than might have been the case had Theo Walcott not instigated a dramatic comeback against Sweden. Rooney will not need to inspire the Three Lions to victory against Ukraine but Roy Hodgson will expect to see a more cohesive team performance with the Manchester United forward linking the play in front of the midfield. Walcott made a real difference to the fluidity of England's counterattacks and Rooney can make the same impact on Tuesday.
Andriy Shevchenko
Ukraine's Player to Watch: Andriy Shevchenko. Oleg Blokhin will be hoping desperately that his captain can recover in time to face England and extend his international career by at least one more game by leading them to three points and a place in the quarter-final. Shevchenko is responsible for giving Ukraine a chance going into the final group fixture, brilliantly bagging two goals against Sweden, and he will need to dig even deeper into his energy reserves in order to topple England.

England vs Ukraine Probable Line Up:
England: Hart, Johnson, Terry, Lescott, Cole, Gerrard, Parker, Walcott, Rooney, Young, Welbeck
Ukraine: Pyatov, Husyev, Mikhalik, Khacheridi, Selin, Tymoshchuk, Yarmolenko, Nazarenko, Konoplyanka, Voronin, Shevchenko

England vs Ukraine Prediction: England need only a draw to seal their place in the quarter-final and that will suit them down to the ground. Roy Hodgson's team have looked at their most secure when they put organisation and discipline first, as they did against France, and the experienced coach will be keen to put the emphasis back on those characteristics after a tumultuous second half, much of which he will not have enjoyed, against Sweden.(Goal)

NSK Olimpijs'kyj — Kyiv (Kiev)
Referee:‬ D. Skomina‎‎
Four of England’s five shots against France were attempted by defenders (Lescott 2x, Johnson and Terry), the other one by a midfielder (Milner). With his goal against Ukraine, Zlatan Ibrahimovic became Sweden’s top scorer at European Championship finals (five, one more than Henrik Larsson).(Yahoo)
Sweden's key player: Olof Mellberg. Sweden's reliance on Zlatan Ibrahimovic is well-known but the striker was his team's best player against Ukraine and scored their only goal. It is the AC Milan striker's team-mates that must improve and the vastly experienced Mellberg is the leader of the pack in defence. Mellberg will not have to cope with Wayne Rooney but Ashley Young and Danny Welbeck will be raring to go having received little in the way of service against France.

England's Player to Watch: Steven GerrardGerrard delivered a steady performance in central midfield against France and, most importantly, supplied the free-kick which Joleon Lescott headed beyond Hugo Lloris to give England the lead. Roy Hodgson will want his side to exert more control against Sweden after a defensive display against Les Bleus and Gerrard will be expecting to be involved more heavily in attacking sequences, but that will depend on the Liverpool talisman gaining a foothold in the centre of the park early on.

Sweden vs England Probable Line Up:
Sweden: Isaksson, Lustig, Mellberg, Granqvist, Martin Olsson, Svensson, Kallstrom, Larsson, Ibrahimovic, Toivonen Elmander
England: Hart, Johnson, Terry, Lescott, Cole, Milner, Gerrard, Parker, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Young, Welbeck

Sweden vs England Euro 2012 Prediction
England's mixed record against Sweden has been well-documented and Roy Hodgson's team could find things more difficult when asked to take the initiative in a match having been able to adopt a defence-first approach against France. They must subdue Zlatan Ibrahimovic if they wish to secure three points, which will be no easy task. The striker looks a more mature player coming into this tournament.(Goal.com)
