Match Schedule: June 17, 2012 7:45 PM BST
L'viv Arena — L'viv
Referee:‬ Carlos Velasco Carballo‎‎‎
Joachim Loew: "We will not underestimate them. We have not qualified yet and need at least one point. It will be a tight match. Denmark also have hopes of reaching the last eight, we always knew they would be a threat as they're compact and very dangerous on the counterattack." (Yahoo)
Denmark's key player: Daniel Agger. The Denmark skipper rarely put a foot wrong at the back in the opening game against the Dutch and was equally assured in the defeat to Portugal. A fine reader of the game, Agger will need to keep the dangerous Mario Gomez on a tight leash and deny him space in and around the penalty box.

Germany's Player to Watch: Mario Gomez. A sublime double against the Netherlands took the Bayern Munich forward to three goals for the tournament, level with Croatia's Mario Mandzukic and Russia's Alan Dzagoev in the race for the Golden Boot. Remarkably, Gomez was in possession of the ball for a mere 18 seconds in the whole of the game against the Dutch, which goes to highlight the 26-year-old's impeccable timing and precision in front of goal.

Denmark vs Germany Probable Line Up:
Denmark: Andersen, Jacobsen, Kjaer, Agger, S Poulsen, Kvist, J Poulsen, Mikkelsen, Eriksen, Krohn-Dehli, Bendtner
Germany: Neuer, Bender, Hummels, Badstuber, Lahm, Khedira, Schweinsteiger, Muller, Ozil, Podolski, Gomez

Denmark vs Germany Prediction: Germany will back themselves to complete a clean sweep in the group stages and set up a quarter-final against the Group A runner-up close to their training base in Gdansk. Denmark cannot hope to outplay Low's side, and, unless they can win the mental battle and turn this into a dull and cagey affair, their tournament is likely to come to an end.

Bert van Marwijk: "The biggest change for us is that it is about one game, it's like a final - a one off-game and so we have to go for it. We need Germany to win but we know from the start we have to win by two goals and I will keep that in mind. We have to go for it, that's what the tactics are based on... the tactics will reflect that situation. It's going to be a frantic game and there were lots of yellow and red cards in the past. So we need lots of discipline for this game. I told the players that but they know that themselves." (Yahoo)
Portugal's key player: Cristiano Ronaldo. The Real Madrid star has endured a nightmarish tournament so far, but his luck may be about to change against a Dutch defence that has looked vulnerable at best and downright sloppy at worst. With the Portuguese attack regaining its verve against Denmark, a return to goalscoring form for Ronaldo is all that is needed to make Bento's side serious contenders for the trophy, provided, of course, they can navigate their way past the group stage.

Arjen Robben
Netherlands's Player to Watch: Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. Van Marwijk looks likely to give in to public pressure and hand the Schalke forward his first start in the tournament, with Robin van Persie possibly employed in a withdrawn role. It could well be the last throw of the dice by the 60-year-old, who will also be urging Van Bommel and Nigel de Jong to do a much better job of shielding the back four from opposition raids and give the team a solid foundation to launch attacks from.

Portugal vs Netherlands Probable Line Up:
Portugal: Rui Patricio, Pereira, Pepe, Alves, Coentrao, Meireles, Veloso, Moutinho, Nani, Postiga, Ronaldo
Netherlands: Stekelenburg, Van der Wiel, Heitinga, Mathijsen, Willems, N De Jong, Van Bommel, Van Persie, Sneijder, Robben, Huntelaar

Portugal vs Netherlands Prediction: Both teams know they cannot settle for anything less than a victory, which should hopefully lead to an open game of football. In possession, both sides can sting but it is when the ball is lost that will be key. How quickly can Portugal counter and how quickly can the Dutch regroup? This game cannot disappoint and if the Oranje were to go down here, they will go down guns blazing.

This clash brings the best two goalscorers from the qualifying round up against each other. Klaas-Jan Huntelaar (who plays for German side Schalke) scored twelve goals for the Dutch, Germany's Miroslav Klose bagged nine. Additionally, yet both strikers only came from the bench in their country's first game. Huntelaar is not the only Dutchmen plying his trade in the Bundesliga, additionally there's Khalid Boulahrouz (Stuttgart) and Arjen Robben (Bayern). Former Bundesliga players are Rafael van der Vaart, Nigel de Jong, Joris Mathijsen (all Hamburg) and Mark van Bommel (Bayern). (Yahoo)

Netherlands's key player: Arjen Robben. The Bayern Munich winger came closest to scoring against Denmark with an angled drive that hit the post in the first half but was guilty of wayward shooting in plenty of other occasions as his team failed to find the net despite raining down 28 shots on goal. Robben will need to be less predictable and more unselfish when he gets to the attacking third to ask questions of the German defence.

Arjen Robben
Germany's Player to Watch: Bastian Schweinsteiger. Schweinsteiger is one of the best midfielder in Germany. He is combative midfielder type has endured a rough patch at Bayern Munchen, where he was hampered by injuries and suffered a traumatizing defeat in the Champions League final against Chelsea. However, a fifth major tournament appearance with the national team gives him a chance to atone for those disappointments, and there are few players who can control the pace of the game as well as the 27-year-old.

Netherlands v Germany Probable Line Up:
Netherlands: Stekelenburg Van der Wiel, Heitinga, Mathijsen, Willems N De Jong, Van Bommel Robben, Sneijder, Afellay Huntelaar
Germany: Neuer Boateng, Hummels, Badstuber, Lahm Khedira, Schweinsteiger Muller, Ozil, Schurrle Gomez

Portugal and Denmark were in the same group for Euro 2012 qualifying, winning one game apiece against each other. Denmark eventually finished three points above the Portuguese, who were forced to qualify via the play-offs. (Yahoo)
Denmark's key player: Michael Krohn-Dehli. The Brondby midfielder was the star of the show against the Netherlands as he showed the much-vaunted Oranje attack how it should be done with a well-taken goal on the counter. The 29-year-old's tireless work-rate and backtracking was instrumental in keeping Arjen Robben quiet and he will have to repeat that against an equally dangerous opponent in Nani.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Portugal's key player: Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portugal skipper endured a frustrating evening against Germany as he was pinned back by Jerome Boateng and struggled to exert any real influence on proceedings. The Real Madrid star, in theory at least, should see more of the ball against the counter-attacking Danes, and will be desperate to deliver a performance befitting his reputation as one of the best players in the world.

Denmark vs Portugal Probable Line Up:
Denmark: Andersen Jacobsen, Kjaer, Agger, S Poulsen Zimling, Kvist Rommedahl, Eriksen, Krohn-Dehli Bendtner
Portugal: Rui Patricio Pereira, Pepe, Alves, Coentrao Meireles, Veloso, Moutinho Nani, Almeida, Ronaldo

Netherlands suffered a shock 1-0 defeat to Denmark at Metalist Stadium on Saturday to start their Euro 2012 campaign in dreadful fashion. Despite fashioning a slew of chances almost straight from the opening whistle, the tournament favourites were extremely poor in front of goal, and were punished for their profligacy by a fine finish from Michael Krohn-Dehli after 24 minutes.

Cristiano Ronaldo (Germany vs Portugal Live Streaming)
Portugal's Player to Watch: Cristiano Ronaldo. CR7 absolutely the most dangerous player in Portugal squad.  The Real Madrid star has struggled to reproduce his club form for Portugal in major tournaments and has netted just twice in his last three international competitions (Euro 2008, World Cups 2006 & 2010). With the Seleccao lacking a quality centre-forward, Ronaldo will have to lead from the front when it comes to goalscoring, and there is the added incentive of reclaiming the Ballon d'Or he last won in 2008.

Germany vs Portugal Probable Line Up:
Germany: Neuer Boateng, Mertesacker, Badstuber, Lahm Khedira, Schweinsteiger Muller, Ozil, Podolski Klose
